The Interceptor®-HRD chemical isolation system is an NFPA 69 compliant solution. The principle of operation for the Interceptor®-HRD system is timely detection of the pressure rise or flame-front during the initial stage of an explosion, followed by fast injection of an extinguishing agent from the 5L isolation bottle.
Comprised of a CONEX Controller, a pressure or optical detector, and a 5L isolation bottle, the Interceptor®-HRD chemical isolation system is ideal for almost any application. With several suppressant agents available, the Interceptor®-HRD is ideal for both sanitary and non-sanitary applications, such as including pneumatic conveying systems, dust collection systems, cyclones, mills, dryers, conveyors, and storage vessels.
