Join Us in Celebrating
30 Years of Excellence
Over the past 30 years in the industry, we have become one of the world leaders in superior fire and explosion protection design.
We’re proud to be celebrating our 30th anniversary this year! Our company began with a determined and dedicated staff that recognized the need for safety solutions to combat industrial combustible dust hazards.
Now, our company has grown into an international leader in explosion and fire protection solutions. Our innovative solutions, expert sales team, and expanded service team work together on each project. Working collaboratively with our clients, we strive to continuously protect processes and people with our industry leading solutions.
Our headquarters in Jupiter, Florida, include manufacturing areas, a warehouse, a demonstration room, and offices where our staff work together to create the most practical safety solutions for our customers in a myriad of different industries.
NEW BRAZIL OFFICE
In 2024, we expanded our presence in South America by opening a new office in Curitiba, Brazil. This office and our expert staff have the experience and knowledge to address the increasing need for explosion protection solutions in the region.
Brazil’s evolving regulatory landscape is relying on North American regulatory guidelines and also new legislation to address industrial safety. Watch for our updates as we continue to attend events in the region and participate in the conversation around combustible dust best practices. We look forward to protecting more facilities to aid in explosion and fire prevention and mitigation.
CUSTOM ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS
Our growing team of sales engineers and support staff are trained and dedicated to creating and implementing solutions to effectively safeguard your process, plant, and personnel.
Our line of Interceptor® products includes explosion vents, flameless vents, chemical suppression systems, explosion isolation devices, along with the various accessories required to create a safety solution that works with your specific process.
First, we can evaluate your current safeguards, hazards, and dust to determine if you are adequately protected. Then, our industry-leading solutions can be used in a new or retrofit installation. Leave it to the experts to find the best solution for any process safety challenge.
AWARD-WINNING INDUSTRY INNOVATION
Innovation is a point of pride for CV Technology when it comes to safety. Our engineering team updates our product to keep up with new safety regulations and technological advances. We also invent new products to meet industry challenges and the needs of our clients.
Our biggest innovation, the Vaaler Award-winning Interceptor®-QV® passive isolation device installs on the clean-air outlet of a dust collector and features flame-arresting mesh to prevent deflagrations in a dust collector from propagating to interconnected downstream areas and equipment.
This device has no moving parts and requires little maintenance while ensuring that only clean, safe air is released to either another plant area — for recirculation and potential energy savings — or into the air outside the plant.
NFPA AND ATEX SAFETY EXPERTS
Our team of seasoned professional engineers have decades of experience in analyzing hazards and generating client-centered solutions. We prioritize maintaining a strong grasp of current regulatory frameworks, including NFPA (North American) and ATEX (European Union) standards.
Interpreting and understanding these standards, which authorities having jurisdiction and governments rely on to guide industry best practices and related enforcement is an important requirement for any company involved in industrial safety. Why? To avoid fines, shutdowns, and safety incidents!
Our deep commitment to process safety includes a continuous presence on National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Technical Committees in order to keep up with the latest standards around combustible dust safety and to offer a manufacturers perspective within the standards setting process.
CERTIFIED, THIRD-PARTY TESTED SOLUTIONS
Meeting and exceeding industry safety standards is important to maintaining processes uptime while still protecting operators and other personnel in your plant.
Our explosion protection solutions have been thoroughly tested internally at our test labs and by third parties to meet NFPA and ATEX standards and many also meet FM approval, which is often required for industrial insurance coverage. Knowing that your systems meet the highest safety standard means that your plant is safer from fire and explosion risk, is less likely to be flagged by regulators, and that your people are protected.
